Beulah B. (Brazelton) Gray (1882-1964) was a historian, newspaper owner/editor, and genealogist in Pike County, Ind. She was born in Petersburg, Ind., to Rosalvo and Laura (Capehart) Brazelton. She married Edward Montgomery Gray (circa 1880-1932) in 1903, and the union bore four children. Gray joined the Otwell Star as a reporter in 1920 and was editor from 1929-1945. She purchased the paper in circa 1930. During World War II she corresponded with men and women overseas, including Elsie Whitehur...
